Holy Martyrs Attalos, Kamasis, Zotikos and Philippos from Niculiţel 22 x 18 cm
This Orthodox icon depicts the Holy Martyrs Zoticus, Attalus, Camasius, and Philip, four early Christian martyrs who suffered for their faith during the Roman persecutions. Their relics were discovered in the ancient martyr crypt at Niculițel, Romania, making them among the earliest known Christian martyrs from the region of Dobruja.
The saints are shown standing together, each with a golden halo symbolizing holiness. They are dressed in traditional Byzantine-style garments and hold symbols of their martyrdom and faith, including crosses and scrolls. The icon is set against a radiant gold background, representing the heavenly Kingdom and divine light, and is framed by an ornate decorative border inspired by Byzantine art.
Feast Day: June 4.
These Orthodox icons are beautifully crafted on durable wood-based panels. The vivid colors and fine details bring warmth and spiritual depth to any space. Perfect for personal prayer corners, gifts, or church use, each icon is a reminder of faith and divine presence.
