DOSAGE
- Adults: 1 capsule twice a day, morning and afternoon

STUDIES
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the Herbal Medicinal Products Committee (HMPC) have approved the use of echinacea as a traditional herbal remedy for short-term prevention & treatment of common cold symptoms. It seems likely that Echinacea purpurea activates the immune system through specific biochemical pathways. Rosa canina contains significant amounts of vitamin C, which are necessary to meet the recommended daily dose. Studies show that Rosa canina has a strong antioxidant effect and inhibits the chemotaxis of peripheral neutrophils. The Astragalus plant stimulates the activation and differentiation of various cells of the immune system. Given the long history of Astragalus use as a "tonic" drug and the recent discovery of its immunomodulating and anticancer effects in vitro and in vivo, it is optimistic that Astragalus, as a potential biological response modifier, may play a new role in modern medicine.
