INGREDIENTS

DOSAGE
- Adults: 1 capsule twice per day

STUDIES
A Cochrane systematic review and meta-analysis (2023) supports that cranberry products reduce the risk of recurrent urinary tract infections in women, children, and vulnerable individuals after medical procedures. An RCT in stages 3–4 CKD showed improvement in markers of inflammation and oxidative stress with cranberry. Multiple reviews report the traditional use of bearberry as a diuretic and urinary antiseptic (for urinary tract infections, cystitis, etc.). One clinical study examines the use of bearberry as an alternative for reducing antibiotic use in uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women, compared with fosfomycin, but the study results have not yet been published. Ethnopharmacological data and older preclinical pharmacological studies indicate diuretic, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory activity.
